The albums’ staggering first single ‘4 Minutes To Save The World’ featuring Justin Timberlake also tops the single’s chart for a second week.
Incredibly this is the fourth time Madonna has had a single and album simultaneously at number 1. No other solo female artist has done the double more than once.

The ‘Toxic’ singer’s father Jamie, who is also co-conservator of her estate, made the shocking discovery after examining Britney’s accounts.
A source close to the Spears family said: “It’s staggering how much money has been used up since February 2007.” Britney - who lost custody of her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline before being admitted to a psychiatric ward earlier this year - has been forced to spend huge amounts on legal bills and psychiatric care.

The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer - who married rapper Jay-Z last month - is back in a New York studio to record new material with production duo Chris ‘Tricky’ Stewart and Kuk Harrell.
Tricky said: “She’s a professional. She loves what she does and works her butt off. Right now she’s basically doing three to four songs a day and that’s unheard of.”
Tricky - who has previously worked with Rihanna and Mariah Carey - also revealed Beyonce could team up with Jay-Z. He added to People magazine: “It’s always a possibility. They worked together before, so it may be just a matter of getting the right record.” Read the rest of this entry »

Alicia had to postpone her concerts in Pittsburgh and Cleveland because her vocal cords were really bad damaged.
However, Alicia recovered in time to return to action in Columbus at the weekend. Alicia’s spokesperson
said that the one to blame for this terrible happening is the cold weather in New york, after the singer recorded a TV appearance in the city.

The pop superstar - who is a follower of controversial religion Kabbalah, a mystical off-shoot of Judaism - says that tom cruise shouldn`t be judged because of his religion.
She told New York magazine: “I don’t care if people worship turtles or frogs! All I care about is whether they are good people - and Tom is a good person. He gets a raw deal, just like the orphans in Malawi get a raw deal. I think a lot of marginalised people get a raw deal.”

Mark Mills – who Heather has claimed is a ’schizo’ who viciously beat her – vehemently denies her accusations, and has revealed footage of his daughter playing happily on a family holiday to Wales.
Mark – who has trouble speaking after a stroke - told Channel 4 documentary ‘Heather Mills: What Really Happened’: ‘There was no violence. I’m convinced.’
The 64-year-old has not seen Heather for 20 years, and insists her tales of living in fear of his violent temper are a complete fantasy. The documentary also features Heather’s former friend claiming they used to act out lesbian romps for up to £10,000 a time.

Cameron Diaz’s ex-boyfriends Justin Timberlake and John Mayer joined the actress to remember her late father at a memorial service yesterday (20.04.08).
The ‘What Happens in Vegas’ star and a host of friends and family attended the service at Mahe, in Seal Beach, California, to celebrate the life of 58-year-old Emilio Diaz – who died last Tuesday morning (15.04.08) from pneumonia.
Guests chose to shun the traditional funeral attire of black and wear brightly coloured garments instead in honour of Emilio’s fun-loving nature.
An onlooker said: ‘Most people started arriving at 1.30pm and very few were wearing black. Lots of people had Hawaiian shirts on.’
Justin – who dated Cameron from 2003 to 2006 – and John, who has been romantically linked to the 35-year-old actress for the past two years, arrived separately and stayed until people started leaving at 4pm.
Instead of flowers, the Diaz family asked mourners to donate money to conservation foundations Surfrider.org or Reefcheck.org in Emilio’s name.(music-news.com)

The Spice Girls star - who recently starred in a series of adverts for US fashion designer Marc Jacobs - left Los Angeles fans disappointed after allegedly turning down the opportunity to promote the fashion collection in person.
Fraser Ross, who owns Los Angeles boutique Kitson, told Britain’s Star magazine: “I’m fighting with Victoria’s people. We have customers asking if she will come in. She lives here - she really should come out and support her fans.”

The ‘Do It Well’ singer and husband Marc held the intimate ceremony for seven-week-old twins Max and Emme at a church in Long Island, New York.
The couple then hosted a reception attended by guests including their closest friends and family members at their nearby Brookville house.
A source close to the couple said: “They didn’t want it to be a big ceremony, so they only invited their very best friends and immediate family. Max and Emme didn’t cry at all - they were really good, and Jennifer and Marc looked extremely proud.”

The former rap star Vanilla Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle, was arrested on Thursday night at his home after an alleged incident regarding his wife.
Vanilla Ice arrested by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies at 10:43 PM on a charge of domestic battery. He apparently got into an argument with his wife, Laura, and he pushed her.
He left court on Friday where Judge Nancy Perez ordered him to stay away from his wife.
