The ‘Angels’ singer has become a keen chef after taking private cooking lessons and wants to show off his culinary skills with a TV programme and accompanying book.
A source said: “He has an urge to host his own cookery show and bring out a book with it.”
However, friends are not convinced the star’s calorie-laden menu will offer enough variety for a whole series.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “The problem is, Robbie isn’t exactly the healthiest eater on the planet. Who needs lessons in how to cook burgers and fries? That’s about all he’s interested in.”
It was recently reported Robbie and his actor friend Max Beesley are set to star on a celebrity version of hit UK show ‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares’. Read the rest of this entry »

The troubled ‘Rehab’ singer has been shocked into seeking help after her saxophonist friend Jason Rae - who was once a backing musician for Amy with his band The Haggis Horns - was discovered dead from a suspected drugs overdose on Saturday (22.03.08).
A friend told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “Amy sacked Jason because he was so out of it and now it’s her own life that has spun out of control.
“The scenario is no different. Amy takes the same substances with which Jason plied himself. She says she can’t believe this happened and that she is still alive - and she can’t let this be her future.

Hove Festival, Norway, returns for its second year from June 23rd to June 27th. Hove Festival is a relative newcomer to the European festival map, but is already competing respectably with the other two main Scandinavian festivals Hultsfred and Roskilde.
With over 15,000 visitors each day, Hove was already in its first year the biggest festival in Norway.
Last year’s debut could also boast a carbon neutral status –zero carbon emissions – and the festival takes its environmental responsibilities seriously, collaborating closely with environmental groups such as Bellona from the planning stages. Nature is a key word here, with its idyllic location on the beautiful island of Tromøya outside the city of Arendal on the scenic Norwegian south coast, previously more known for its many naturalist painters than for its allegiance to ‘the devil’s music’. This is a policy that will be continued in 2008. Read the rest of this entry »

The ‘Do It Well’ singer – who gave birth to twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony on February 22 – is more concerned with enjoying motherhood than losing the post-pregnancy pounds, according to People magazine editor Peter Castro.
He said: ‘The twins were almost 6lbs each when they were born. And right now, yes, Jennifer has lost a lot of the weight, but she is in no rush to lose all of it. She is enjoying motherhood and that is what she is concentrating on.’

The British singer is desperate lend his voice to the opening of the latest 007 adventure ‘Quantum of Solace’, but accepts he will have to get past current favourite Amy Winehouse.
He said in an interview with ITV.com: “I think trying to do a themed song for a film is great, a song that encapsulates what the whole film is about. “
Bond would be a great one. To be honest I know Amy Winehouse is being hotly-tipped for it, which would be great if she gets to do that, but the Bond films are an institution in themselves and you’d love to, as an artist, get involved with something like that. It would be great to be involved”. Read the rest of this entry »

The ‘Umbrella’ singer, who launched a campaign last month to find a bone marrow donor for mother-of-two Lisa Gershowitz Flynn, says finding a match for Lisa was a “miracle”.
She said: “There are no words to express how happy I am for Lisa and her family. I am thankful she found a donor and I feel honoured to be a part of such an amazing miracle.”
Rihanna was so moved by Lisa’s story she joined forces with DKMS, the world’s leading bone marrow donor centre, to find her a match.
The 41-year-old New York lawyer was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukaemia, a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow last November, and was given just four to six weeks to find a donor.
Following Rihanna’s public plea for help, 5,000 potential donors contacted DKMS. Lisa is now preparing for her bone marrow transplant.
Rihanna added to People magazine: “This blessing has continued to keep me aware of how precious life really is. I will be praying for Lisa and her family as they move into a hopeful future.”
Lisa, who has a five-year-old son Michael and three-year-old daughter Alexandra, was overjoyed by the donor response. She previously said: “The English language does not have words that are adequate to thank someone for working to save your life.
Please continue to spread the word about how important it is to fill the bone marrow registry with donors to save others.” (music-news)

The singer’s boyfriend Freddie Fuller - who was attacked by a machete-wielding assailant during a night out last December - is determined to tie the knot with Amelle after she helped save his life.

Amelle admits the attack has left her “in a dark hole” which she is desperate to escape from.
She said: “All this bad stuff has made me a person I don’t want to be. I feel paranoid and wary, but that’s not me. I still feel like I’m in a dark hole.
“I’m desperate to get out of it, but something’s changed.”
It has been claimed the incident could have been a revenge attack related to a fight Freddie was involved in at a Camberley nightclub.(music-news)
