The ‘Umbrella’ singer, who launched a campaign last month to find a bone marrow donor for mother-of-two Lisa Gershowitz Flynn, says finding a match for Lisa was a “miracle”.
She said: “There are no words to express how happy I am for Lisa and her family. I am thankful she found a donor and I feel honoured to be a part of such an amazing miracle.”
Rihanna was so moved by Lisa’s story she joined forces with DKMS, the world’s leading bone marrow donor centre, to find her a match.
The 41-year-old New York lawyer was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukaemia, a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow last November, and was given just four to six weeks to find a donor.
Following Rihanna’s public plea for help, 5,000 potential donors contacted DKMS. Lisa is now preparing for her bone marrow transplant.
Rihanna added to People magazine: “This blessing has continued to keep me aware of how precious life really is. I will be praying for Lisa and her family as they move into a hopeful future.”
Lisa, who has a five-year-old son Michael and three-year-old daughter Alexandra, was overjoyed by the donor response. She previously said: “The English language does not have words that are adequate to thank someone for working to save your life.
Please continue to spread the word about how important it is to fill the bone marrow registry with donors to save others.” (music-news)

The singer’s boyfriend Freddie Fuller - who was attacked by a machete-wielding assailant during a night out last December - is determined to tie the knot with Amelle after she helped save his life.
Freddie - who almost lost an arm and leg chopped in the horrific incident which occurred in Aldershot, Hampshire - said: “She’s my guardian angel. She’s always stood by me, even when things got really bad. I want to marry her. I’ll get down on both knees if I have to.”
Amelle admits the attack has left her “in a dark hole” which she is desperate to escape from.
She said: “All this bad stuff has made me a person I don’t want to be. I feel paranoid and wary, but that’s not me. I still feel like I’m in a dark hole.
“I’m desperate to get out of it, but something’s changed.”
It has been claimed the incident could have been a revenge attack related to a fight Freddie was involved in at a Camberley nightclub.(music-news)

The Spice Girls star - who first fell out with Britney when the ‘Toxic’ star reportedly refused to sit next to her at prestigious Los Angeles’ hotel Chateau Marmont last year - has now blasted the 26-year-old for not having any personal input into her perfume line.
Speaking about the launch of her new dVb denim range for men, Victoria said: “I’m a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I’m not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, ‘Sell this perfume.’
“This is a real passion of mine. People think all I do is go shopping like a miserable cow, but, in actual fact, I work bloody hard.”
Mother-of-three Victoria also revealed how she likes her husband, soccer star David Beckham, to wear his denims.
She added: “I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops - exactly how you see David when he’s out in his jeans and T-shirt.
“Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang! I didn’t want anything too tight around the crotch. That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from dVb.”
Victoria recently revealed she would hate to have Britney’s life, adding: “I could never live a life like Britney Spears, who is under the spotlight every day. “I couldn’t do that. I would go stir crazy. I need my privacy with my husband and children otherwise I’d just go loopy.”(music-news)

After being forced to cancel her performance at the SECC, Glasgow due to illness. Alicia Keys is pleased to announce two more UK dates in July 2008.

The troubled singer – who first showed off her acting skills in the widely criticised 2002 movie ‘Crossroads’ – will appear in the CBS sitcom in an episode due to air in April, a representative for the show confirmed.
Britney is expected to play a character called Abby - who works in the doctor’s office owned by main character Ted – who is described as ’sweet and friendly and scattered and a little nerdy’.
The 26-year-old star is already working hard to make sure she is fully prepared for the role. She was spotted leaving the 20th Century Fox studios in Los Angeles yesterday (10.03.08) after having a script read-through with other cast members, including Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segal.
The show revolves around Ted, played by Jason Segal, who tells his children the crazy stories behind how he met their mom.
As well as starring in ‘Crossroads’, Britney appeared on successful US TV show ‘Will and Grace’ in 2006, and also starred in her own reality show with ex-husband Kevin Federline, ‘Britney and Kevin: Chaotic’. Meanwhile, Britney - who has an estimated $100million fortune – has been given a $1,500 weekly allowance by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz.
In a ruling yesterday (10.03.08), the commissioner also approved hiring two specialist attorneys to help the mother-of-two sort out her financial affairs while she is under the temporary co-conservatorship of her father Jamie until July 31.
Geraldine Wyle, attorney for the conservators, said the allowance is intended to allow Britney to start to ‘enjoy herself and have some freedom of choice’.(music-news)

The Game is out of jail early after serving just eight days out of a sixty day sentence.
The rapper, real name Jayceon Taylor, walked out of Twin Towers Correctional Facility, according to his lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, after serving less than a fifth of his sentence for pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.
Steve Whitmore, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson, tells us The Game was released early due to overcrowding.(music-news)

The producers of James Blunt, Warner Music,owe money to the old producers of the artist, Custard Record.
Linda Perry,the one that discovered the artist, wants money from Warner Music,the actual producers of James Blunt.
She demands 5000000$ for the author rights and indemnity for the debut album of Blunt.
Perry owns Custard Records and signed with James Blunt before Warner Music to obtain the artists signature.
Linda Perry signed with James Blunt after she saw him at a festival in Texas and she does not accept that a bigger producer to take advantage over an independent one,smaller,as is the firm she owns.
Linda Perry was a singer before she got this executive post.She was the vocalist of 4 Non Blondes and became famous after they released the hit “What’s Up”.
After the extinction of the 4 Non Blondes,she had a few solo albums without any success.In the mean time she was in the back of many of the famous artists ,composing for Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani and Pink.
